His Excellency
the Minister of Transport Nabil bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi visited Eastern Province
to inspected Al-Ahsa projects.
The Minister of
Transport started his tour by visiting the Regional Ring road that connected
Dammam - Al Jubail with Dammam - Riyadh highway and Dhahran - Uqair road. The
road paving road was done in three lines also the pipelines and the railways.
HE also inspected the Dhahran - Buqayq road preventive maintenance project,
which is about 58 km long and it is expected to be completed in 14 months. His
tour also included visited the ring road in Al-Ahsa which 75% was completed by 88
km length.
HE also
inspected the intersection of Al-Wozeyh village with Al-Ahsa ring road which
completed by 68%. HE also pursued the workflow on a number of bridges under the
ring road project, with a number of ministry officials led by the road undersecretary
Mr. Majed Al-Arqybi and the Director of the Ministry's Eastern Province Branch
Eng. Ahmed Al-Ghamdi.
On the other
side, His Highness Prince Badr bin Muhammad bin Jalawi Al Saud the Governor Al-Ahsa
received the Minister of Transport Nabil bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi and the Public
Transport Authority President Dr. Rumaih Al-Rumaih. During the meeting, the
Minister reviewed the Transport Sector Entities projects in the province
including the railway station.
At the end of
his meeting, HE the Minister expressed his thanks to His Highness.
The Minister of
Transport visit came as part of the Ministry commitment to oversight and follow
up the roads projects workflow.
