The Kingdom
delegation in the work of the 60th session for the Executive Office of the Arab
Transport Ministers Council was headed by His Excellency the Deputy Minister of
Transport, Eng. Saad Abdulaziz Alkhalb. That will hold tomorrow at the Arab
League General Secretariat in Cairo and will continue for two-day.
The Executive
Office members of Arab Transport Ministers discuss the workshop results that
held last February, to study the forming Arab Maritime conglomerate and its
implementation mechanisms. Aiming to strengthen the cooperation among member
state to facilitation the intra-Arab trade and the trade exchange with the
world to enhance the Sustainable Development economic benefits.
Also, the
members discuss to establish a specialized Arab center for the investigation
the maritime accidents. The Ministers will decide the final decision of the
workshop, that suggested in the 4th Summit that held in Riyadh on Nov 2015 and
the Ministers Council at its 29th Session in Oct 2016. To discuss the integrated
mechanisms of maritime transport and logistics services between the Arab
countries and South American.

according to the strategic vision that aims to achieve the integration between
transport sector entities to meet the Kingdom needs and competitiveness to
invest the geographical location to become a logistics platform that connects
the three world's continents based on the Saudi Vision 2030.
