The Ministry
of Transport, represented by the General Directorate for Quality and Standards,
has established a workshop entitled (Total Quality Management) in Makkah. As
part of the Ministry’s efforts to improve the performance efficiency to
implement the projects to achieve its vision and objectives through operating
the TQM methodology.
The
Director-General of the Quality and Standards General Directorate, the Eng.
Suliman Al-Fahaid, reviewed the concept of TQM and highlighted in the Central
Laboratory role in achieving the TQM, business acceptance, improving the
material testing. quality and training methods in the use of E-Quality.

Ahmed Salashand and a number of Engineers, Technicians, and the Makkah
Ministry's branch employees were attended the workshop.
