The Minister Speech

Since the foundation stage, the transport sector in our Kingdom is blessed with the attention and care of our wise leadership to promote the name and status of our country. The support and the attention continue until our current era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and the leader of our vision HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

We are proud of the prosperity, stability and security that we have in our country, and we are honored to achieve considerable leaps in the transport and logistics sector out of our belief that this industry plays an essential role in the Kingdom's economy.

The infrastructure of the economy and the nature of the promising market are attracting elements to investors. The Kingdom has the most extensive road network in the Middle East, in addition to the diversity of the transport modes: land, air and sea, so there are many investment opportunities in this sector.

In order to achieve the aspirations and the vision of the Kingdom 2030, reach a prosperous economy in this ambitious country, strengthen our position globally and provide the best services to the citizens, we seek to develop the transport sector entities and fulfill true integration based on clear frameworks and methodology.

We are currently working to make use of the available resources, the huge infrastructure, and the geographical location, to complete the transport sectors' projects, activate its initiatives and achieve its objectives by accelerating the privatization of some vital sectors and automate the services.

Finally, we ask Allah to bless our wise leadership and the security and stability of this country, and to help those who work hard to raise its name and prestige.

Minister of Transport
